LeDuc’s Score Second Consecutive Best In The Desert Series

Class Win at the Terrible’s Town 250 on Toyo Tires®

PAHRUMP, NEVADA

Curt and Todd LeDuc from Cherry Valley, California, piloted their ROCKSTAR Energy Drink/Toyo Tires/Skyjacker Ford truck to first in class 8000 at the Terrible’s Town 250 desert off-road race this past weekend in Pahrump, Nevada. Their win marks the second consecutive victory for the team during the 2007 Best In The Desert off-road racing series, a perfect win record since installing Toyo Open Country M/T™ tires on their truck beginning this season.

Even more remarkable, the team beat the second place finisher in their class by nearly a half-hour, scoring 12th overall out of a highly competitive field of racers. Curt LeDuc ran the first 125-mile leg of the race, muscling his way through the field from an 80th place starting position. During the driver change, son Todd LeDuc jumped in for the second half; while navigator/crew chief, Brent Wendt of Riverside, California remained on board for the duration. Todd LeDuc stated, “When we came up to the silt beds, we passed a lot of people. Our Open Country M/T’s worked great.”

According to Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation, “Curt LeDuc has established his dominance in Class 8000 in desert off-road racing and we are glad to have him as a recent addition to Team Toyo Off-Road. We congratulate both Curt and Todd for a great victory.”
