Citroën faces a rough and tough time in Greece
Acropolis Rally:
Just before the calendar's two-month summer recess, the World Rally Championship moves on to Greece for the 54th Acropolis Rally for which Citroën Sport has entered two Citroën C4 WRCs for Sébastien Loeb/Daniel Elena and Dani Sordo/ Marc Martí.

MLAs sample high-octane action at the Armagh Lions Club Festival of Motorsport press launch at Stormont!
Early morning sunshine graced the beautiful surroundings at Stormont today as Armagh Lions Club and North Armagh Motorcycle and Car Club Ltd (NAMCC Ltd) launched their inaugural Festival of Motorsport.
Due to take place in Loughgall Country Park, County Armagh, on Saturday 2 June, Stormont reverberated to the sound of rally and autotest cars as MLAs sampled high-octane action outside Parliament Buildings.

A fully-deserved podium finish for Simon Jean-Joseph and their Citroën C2

Croatia Delta Rally
The second and last leg of the 34th Croatia Rally – third round of the 2007 European Rally Championship (ERC) – saw Simon Jean-Joseph and Jack Boyère finish 3rd overall at the wheel of their C2 S1600. The Citroën pair also took the laurels in both the Group A and Super 1600 standings.

Citroën's Jean-Joseph (6th) fights back after early delay

At the end of the opening leg of the 2007 Croatia Rally, Simon Jean-Joseph, Jack Boyère and their C2 S1600 figure in 6th position overall. Their PH Sport-prepared Citroën also tops both the provisional Group A and Super 1600 standings.

Subaru World Rally Team Acropolis Rally of Greece preview
Every round of the World Rally Championship presents a tough challenge, but next weekend’s Acropolis Rally of Greece is one of the most difficult of them all. A combination of searing heat, boulder-strewn gravel roads and difficult stage layouts make this a true survival of the fittest. With a nine-week break in the WRC year after this event, the Subaru World Rally Team is heading to the Mediterranean keen to end the first half of the season on a high.

Charlie keeps his crown at KBB Tour of the Sperrins Rally!
- Local men Charlie Donnelly/Paddy Toner win KBB Tour of the Sperrins Rally!
- Comber's Neil McCance/Rihcrad Hunniford win Sunoco Fuels Group N category!
- Frank Kelly/Joe Friel secure Superdrive two wheel drive honours after intense battle!
Charlie Donnelly and Paddy Toner retained their title at last weekend's KBB Tour of the Sperrins Rally when they emerged victorious for the second year in succession! The event, which was round four of the Pacenotes MSA Northern Ireland Stage Rally Championship, saw local man Donnelly arrive home just six seconds ahead of Cookstown's Glenn Allen and Damien Connolly, who scored maximum championship points for the third event in succession.

BP-FORD FINISHES FIRST AND SECOND IN ITALY TO TOP WRC STANDINGS

Rally D'Italia Sardegna
BP-Ford World Rally Team lead both the manufacturers' and drivers' standings in the FIA World Rally Championship after finishing first and second on Rally d'Italia Sardegna today. Marcus Grönholm and Timo Rautiainen won this seventh round of the series in a Ford Focus RS World Rally Car to retake the lead in the drivers' championship. Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen
were second in another Focus RS after three days of tough driving on the Mediterranean island.

Subaru World Rally Team Rally d'Italia Sardegna - leg three
Seventy-three of the original 82 crews started the third leg.
Six stages made up the final day. The tests were situated to the north and west of Olbia, the rally base. Unusually, there was no midday service halt: instead there was a short refuel between SS15 and SS16. After the final stage the drivers went to Porto Cervo to go over the ceremonial finish ramp at 1430hrs.

GRÖNHOLM AND HIRVONEN HOLD SWAY ON PODIUM IN SARDINIA SUN
BP-Ford World Rally Team maintained its grip on two steps of the podium during today's second leg of Rally d'Italia Sardegna. Marcus Grönholm and Timo Rautiainen won two speed tests in their Ford Focus RS World Rally Car as they preserved their overnight second position. Team-mates Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen remain third in a similar car after a second long and hot day's driving in the north of the Mediterranean island.

Subaru World Rally Team Rally d'Italia Sardegna - leg two
80 of the original 82 competitors started day two of the event.
For the second leg the action shifted to Terranova, south-west of the rally’s base. The route mixed familiar roads used in previous years with new sections. Competitors tackled three stages in the morning and then returned to the same three tests in the afternoon, following a 30-minute service halt back in Olbia.

RALLY D'ITALIA SARDEGNA
Eighty of the original 82 starters left a bright and sunny Olbia this morning for the second day of this seventh round of the FIA World Rally Championship. Twenty-two of those are competing under SupeRally rules having retired yesterday. They face another 142.72km of competition, divided into two identical loops of three gravel speed tests in the Gallura region, south-west of Olbia.

WRC : Rally D'Italia Sardegna - Leg 1: Loeb and Citroën, masters in the art of 'roadsweeping'

The opening day of the 2007 Rally d'Italia Sardegna ended with Sébastien Loeb, Daniel Elena and their Citroën C4 WRC on top of the overnight leaderboard after spending the day sweeping a clean line through the loose top-coating for those running further
down the order. Fellow C4 WRC runners Dani Sordo and Marc Martí completed the day in 5th place.

GRÖNHOLM AND HIRVONEN APPLY PRESSURE FOR FORD IN SARDINIA
BP-Ford World Rally Team holds second and third positions after today's sun-kissed opening leg of Rally d'Italia Sardegna. Marcus Grönholm and Timo Rautiainen are second in a Ford Focus RS World Rally Car after leading for most of the afternoon before a broken shock absorber cost 30 seconds and the
overnight lead. Team-mates Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen charged up the leaderboard this afternoon to claim third in another Focus RS.
