Harley-Davidson is inviting people worldwide to become a part of the Harley-Davidson Museum family through its new Membership program. Opening its doors in July 2008, the Harley-Davidson Museum is offering several membership levels, and those who join the Museum by June 1, 2008 will be invited to a pre-grand opening preview of the Museum, subject to capacity. All who have signed up in 2008 will forever be known as “Founding Members.”

Villopoto named 2007 AMA Pro Racing SPEED Athlete of the Year

AMA Motocross and Supercross racer Ryan Villopoto walked away with the most prestigious award Sunday night at the 33rd Annual AMA Pro Racing Championship Awards Banquet held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Villopoto, the 19-year-old Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider from Poulsbo, Wash., earned the 2007 AMA Pro Racing SPEED Athlete of the Year Award.

AMA PRO SPEED ATHLETE OF THE YEAR NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (November 12, 2007)

Five standout riders have been nominated to receive the prestigious AMA Pro Racing SPEED Athlete of the Year award which will be presented at the AMA Pro Racing Championship Awards Banquet this Sunday, Nov. 18. Dating back to 1976, the award is the highest honor bestowed to a professional motorcycle racer competing in AMA-sanctioned racing. Past recipients of the award include such legendary names as Bob Hannah, Scott Parker and Kenny Roberts, among others.

BMW MOTORRAD ACQUIRES HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES

Munich.

BMW will acquire the renowned motorcycle company Husqvarna Motorcycles. Dr. Herbert Diess, General Director of BMW Motorrad, and the Italian industrialist Claudio Castiglioni signed a contract on 19.07.2007 in Italy. The contractual agreement will come into full effect upon final approval of the EU cartel authorities. Both parties agreed that the purchase price was to remain confidential.

2007 AMA TOYOTA MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP BROADCAST SCHEDULE

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (May 17, 2007)

AMA Racing is pleased to announce the schedule for SPEED’s broadcasts of the 2007 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship presented by FMF. Most races will be broadcast on Sunday evenings, one week after the events. In addition there are three rounds – Budds Creek, Red Bud and Millville - that are slated to receive same-day coverage.
