Monster Energy Kawasaki Captures Two Podium Positions at AMA National Hare and Hound

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Destry Abbott captured second overall during the extremely dusty sixth round of the AMA National Hare and Hound Series in Jericho, Utah. Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Josh Morros earned his first national overall podium, finishing third amongst the best off-road riders in the world.

Monster Energy/FAR/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Scott Watkins put in a solid race in the XC2 class earning fifth place this past weekend at the fifth round of the GNCC series in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. Teammate Jesse Robinson captured a sixth-place finish in the XC1 class.

AMA RACING ANNOUNCES YOUTH HARE SCRAMBLE SERIES
PICKERINGTON, Ohio (April 12, 2007)
AMA Racing has announced the creation of the AMA Western Region Youth Hare Scramble Championship Series. In its inaugural year the series will feature three rounds; two in California and one in Oregon. Future plans call for the series to expand into all AMA Regions.

KTM Riders Earn Top Ten Overall Positions In Series
National Hare & Hound Series:
Lucerne Valley, CA - Round 7 (25.10.2006)
Kellon Walch returned back to the Hare & Hound Series after a difficult ankle injury and had a great start in very dry and dusty conditions. Walch fought throughout the race and finished 11th. Matt Gosnell worked his way slowly to the top and charged to a strong fifth place overall for the day. David Pearson had some technical issues which forced him to pull out from the race after the gas stop.

Kurt Casselli Takes Second; One Round To Go.
WORCS Series;
Pismo Beach, CA; Round 11 (25.10.2006)
Kurt Casselli was fourth on the start and moved fast to first place on the rough sandy course. After a crash set Casselli back to third, he worked his way to first and began to pull away from the rest of the pack. On his last lap he faced a technical issue but rode smart all the way to a second place finish. “Of course we are all upset about losing the race but I’m satisfied to be able to finish second. I have finished every race I’ve participated in on the podium,” Casselli said after the race.

12 Hours of Glen Helen; KTM Runs Away With The Win
The 12 Hours of Glen Helen was dominated by the KTM team consisting of David Pearson, Matt Gosnell, Kurt Caselli and Mike Corder. The four riders completed forty-three laps and surpassed the second place team by two laps.

GNCC Series: Round 9 Mc Henry, MD
Wet conditions; started raining Sunday morning at 6am and basically rained all day. Temperature still around 70. This year course had lots of fast sections going straight up and down the ski hill. But it was still the traditional rocky terrain. Originally track was 13miles but before the start they cut of a lot of sections and they ran 9 mile loop. Afterhalf way of the race they cut one more mile out of the course due to very bad conditions.
