- Return to English circuit for Katherine Legge

The DTM races at Brands Hatch for the third time. The mere 1.929 kilometre Indy Circuit layout is exciting for both drivers and fans alike. The race in Great Britain means a return to Katherine Legge’s home ground, where she last competed in a race in 2004. The eighth round of the 2008 DTM season is broadcast live on "Das Erste" on Sunday from 1:50 p.m.

Rod Hall Racing's Team HUMMER, recognized as the most successful stock class desert racing program, attempts to enter the record books again this weekend as team driver Emily Miller, embarks on a quest to become the first woman to drive the entire 457-mile Best in the Desert (BITD) "TSCO Vegas to Reno" race. Racers take the green flag on Friday, August 22, 2008.

LADIES DAY AT WSORR’S BARK RIVER “THE DEUCE” AS KONITZER AND KRIEMAN SHARE SPOTLIGHT

Rhonda Konitzer and Stephanie Krieman took a giant step forward for women racers everywhere by climbing up another step of the podium with matching second place finishes in their respective PRO classes at Bark River “the Deuce” this past weekend in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The pair now share the record for the highest finish ever for a woman in a professional class off-road race event.

Cindi Lux Retires Early from World Challenge GT at Mid-Ohio

Cindi Lux (Aloha, Ore.) finished a frustrating weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course with a frustrating finish. The 11-time road racing champion left the Lexington facility with a 28th-place finish after a gearbox malfunction on the 19th lap. Lux entered the one-hour Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) SPEED World Challenge race weekend with high expectations for the No. 2 Team Mopar Dodge Viper Competition Coupe.

Prumm title ambitions thwarted by broken collarbone

Double Women’s World Cup winner and current leader of the inaugural FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship, Yamaha Van Beer’s Katherine Prumm, will miss this weekend’s Grand Prix of Germany at Teutschenthal after breaking her left collarbone while training in Belgium on Tuesday.

Prinz extends her lead with an outstanding performance at Assen

In the second round of the Women’s Road Racing European Championship at the TT circuit of Assen Nina Prinz again showed her class leading abilities on her Yamaha YZF-R1. As with the first round, there was no real competition for the German Yamaha rider. The reigning European champion from Mannheim / Leutkirch was quickest all weekend, and never looked as if she was going to struggle with the competition.

“ Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green rider Tatum Sik finished 4-4 and fourth overall in the AMA/WMA National Motocross Championship Presented by Kawasaki season opener at the Hangtown Classic in Sacramento, Calif. Sik , a 17-year-old high school senior, rode near the front all day to finish fourth overall, matching her career best as a pro.
